Now hiring Direct Entry Captains

This unique program allows experienced pilots join GoJet as a Captain, rather than a First Officer.  This program is ideal for First Officers at other regionals who meet Captain requirements, but are facing long upgrade times.  Direct Entry Captains with a current CL-65 or ERJ-170 type rating are eligible for $15,000 in new hire bonuses and may join carry over longevity from another regional at a rate of 1:1.  Direct Entry Captains with these type ratings are also eligible for up to six months of early seniority.

  • Direct Entry Captains must be a minimum of 23 years old
  • FAA Mult-Engine Airline Transport PIlot's Certificate
  • Minimum Flight Experience:
      • 2,500 hours, of which 100% must be fixed wing
      • 1,000 hours multi-engine time
      • 1,000 hours air carrier experience
      • 1,000 hours turbine time
  • Starting pay:  $68.23 per flight hour
  • Per Diem:  $1.85
  • 100% cancellation pay
  • Minimum Guarantee:  75 hours per month (GoJet pilots average 83 hours per month)

Direct Entry Captains are eligible for a $12,000 signing bonus.  Those with a current CL-65 or ERJ-170 type rating are also eligible for an additional $3,000 training bonus, for a total of $15,000 in new hire bonuses.  Pilots receiving a type rating bonus may also:

  • Carry over longevity from another carrier at a rate of 1:1 (for example, a pilot with two years of longevity at another carrier would start at GoJet with two years of longevity)
  • Earn up to 6 months early seniority (Come to two days of Indoc training, receive a seniority number, and then be placed on personal leave for a maximum of 180 days)
