GoJet Airlines Celebrates One Year Anniversary

October 4, 2006 - GoJet Airlines, a regional airline operating as United Express, will celebrate its one year anniversary on October 4, 2006.  GoJet currently serves a total of 17 cities in 12 states under its United Express partnership.

During the past year, GoJet has achieved several milestones.  The airline carried one million passengers during its first year of service.  Throughout the year, the overall completion factor was 99%.  GoJet started with 5 aircraft to 5 different cities, and now operates 15 aircraft to 17 cities. 

“We are excited and proud of our first year in service," said GoJet President and COO Richard Leach. "GoJet has exceeded our performance goals while growing substantially.  The determination and dedication of our employees has been absolutely amazing.” 

GoJet Airlines is headquartered in St. Louis and is a subsidiary of Trans States Holdings, Inc.  GoJet operates the Bombardier, Canadair CRJ-700 regional jet aircraft in a 66-seat configuration, and was the first United Express carrier with United’s explus® aircraft configuration, consisting of 6 First Class at 37-inch pitch, 28 Economy Plus at a 34-inch pitch, and 32 Economy seats at a 31-inch pitch.
