GoJet Airlines is excited to announce a new partnership with Duo Dogs Inc., a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to training and placing service dogs that transform lives across the country. Accredited by Assistance Dogs International (ADI) and compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Duo Dogs trains three types of dogs at zero cost to clients:
- Assistance Dogs who provide stability and independence for individuals with physical challenges
- Facility Dogs who offer emotional assurance in schools, hospitals, and community centers
- Touch Therapy Dogs who bring serenity and well-being to patients and support reading programs in classrooms and libraries
Founded in 1981, Duo Dogs has placed more than 200 Assistance Dogs and relies on over 500 active volunteers to support its mission. In 2016 the organization opened a 20,000-square-foot state-of-the-art training center designed to oversee every stage of a dog’s journey, from breeding and socialization to final matching with clients.
GoJet’s role in this partnership will include corporate support, volunteer engagement, and fundraising initiatives aimed at expanding Duo Dogs’ reach. Our employees will have opportunities to tour the facility, assist with puppy socialization, and witness firsthand the “Duo” bond when a dog meets its new partner. We believe every member of the GoJet family can make a tangible difference in helping individuals chart new paths toward freedom, confidence, and companionship.
In the words of Duo Dogs, “When we’re together, WE become the Duo.” GoJet Airlines is honored to stand alongside Duo Dogs in creating dynamic partnerships that deliver more than just a leash: we provide a lifeline.
