We’re proud to share that GoJet Airlines has been named the top regional air carrier in the 2024 Fly Quiet Recognition Awards, presented by the O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission (ONCC). This award reflects our ongoing commitment to being a responsible operator – not just in the skies, but in the communities we fly over.

About the Fly Quiet Program
The Fly Quiet Program is a voluntary initiative led by the ONCC to reduce aircraft noise during overnight hours (10 p.m. – 7 a.m.) near Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The program rewards airlines that operate with environmental awareness and strong community consideration.
How GoJet Stood Out
Among all regional air carriers analyzed, GoJet scored an impressive 85.9 out of 100 points, leading the category with distinction. Award criteria included:
- Fleet Quality: Flying quieter aircraft during overnight hours
- Scheduling Practices: Minimizing operations during the most sensitive noise windows
- Preferential Flight Tracks: Using departure paths that avoid densely populated areas
- Ground Run-Up Practices: Conducting engine tests in approved enclosures to limit noise
As the only regional airline recognized, we’re especially proud to be setting a standard for how smaller fleets can still make a big impact.

“The ONCC appreciates these airlines being good neighbors to our communities,” said ONCC Chair Joseph Annunzio. “We hope this recognition will be an incentive to all airlines operating at O’Hare to be mindful of these considerations.”
Being a Good Neighbor in the Sky
At GoJet, safety and operational excellence are always top priorities – but we also recognize the importance of environmental stewardship. This award underscores our belief that aviation can be both efficient and considerate. We’re honored to be recognized and remain committed to responsible flying as we grow alongside our partners at United Airlines.
